ZenaTech (Nasdaq: ZENA) just kept its acquisition streak alive, snapping up its 27th Drone-as-a-Service company and planting its flag in Idaho for the first time. The Vancouver-based tech company announced it completed the purchase of Benchmark Partners LLC, a Ketchum, Idaho firm that does business as Galena-Benchmark Engineering.

The firm also handles land planning and geographic information systems — the tech-heavy mapping tools that help clients figure out exactly what's going on with a piece of land before anything gets built on it.

For ZenaTech, this deal is about layering its AI-powered drone technology on top of an already established client base.
